The Buzz Points local business network is constantly growing, and our worker bees are always busy identifying local businesses in your area.

If you see a purchase in your Activity feed where you did not earn the full local business bonus points (1 point per dollar), let us know! Use the Mark As Local feature to notify us.

Remember, a local business is one that is locally owned and a member of your community. National retailers like Walmart and Starbucks are not considered local.

1. Click on the transaction to expand it, then click Mark as Local.

2. Fill in some basic information about the business.

3. If the business is verified as local, you'll earn 25 points for submitting it! Once the submission is approved, your points for the current month will be adjusted to receive the local-level point award. This can take a few days.

Hint: To Mark As Local on the iPhone mobile app, find a qualifying purchase and "swipe left!". To Mark As Local on the Android app, click the three bars in the top left corner, tap "Manage Account", tap "Earn More Points, then tap "Recommend a Local Business" then tap the transaction.
